Codes/Legend ST = Single Track, Tight
SO = Single Track Open
SM = Single Track Mixed
MXD = Single track Mixed
2T = 2 Track Tight
2O = 2 Track Open
2M = 2 track Mixed
Rd = Road sections, road license required. Generally dirt to graded gravel, sometimes paved.
Difficulty Grade 1 = Easy/Open, few whoops, little deep sand, low technical. Beginner/Family
2 = Some difficulties, little to some challenge. Family/Light challenge
3 = Mid-grade, some difficulties, mid technical. Moderate Challenge.
4 = More technical, more difficulties, some obstacles, Experienced.
5 = Technical, uneven terrain, difficult natural obstacles. Advanced/Experienced only!

Tin Cup Lincoln Hills
Length - 21 Miles

Description - 2 T
Difficulty grade - 1
License required - ORV
Gas on loop - None, gas at Wolf Lake. (road license required) Camp grounds - State Forest Campground at Carrieville Special features - Gas, food at Carrieville, Luther and north at M - 55 and M - 37. Gas, food, motels at Baldwin and Wolf Lake General description - Two track/wide trail paralleled by a single track trail. Good family area, tied to Little Manistee trail/route via MCCCT. Can all be accessed with ORV sticker.

Length - 20 Miles

Description - 2 TO
Difficulty grade - 2 (sandy)
License required - ORV
Gas on loop - None, gas available in Luther, Three Mile Road is open to un-licensed ORV's into and out of Luther for gas and food! Take it easy on the road! We don't want to lose this special privilege.
Camp grounds - State Forest Campground at Carrieville, must trailer un-licensed ORV's to loop. Four Seasons Campground (private) 1 1/2 miles north of Carrieville (616) 266-5582.
Special features - 10 miles from Baldwin or Reed City, plenty of motels.
General description - One good feature is that the Trail and Route run parallel to each other and you can change from one to the other at any road crossings. The ORV Route will have some sandy sections and you need to lookout for dune buggies and 4 wheel traffic.

Length - 45 Miles

Description - 2O
Difficulty grade - 2
License required - ORV
Gas on loop - At Carrieville
Camp grounds - Route and Trail run right through State Forest Campground at Carrieville.
Special features - Luther 3 miles east of Carrieville, Wolf Lake on west side of loop, Peacock LTD, a full service ORV dealer is accessible by Trail or Route and is open Sunday!
General description - The ORV Route will have some sandy sections and you need to be on the lookout dune buggies and other traffic. This loop gets a lot of use on holiday weekends.

Silver Lake State Park
Length - Miles of sand dunes

Description - Sand Dunes
Difficulty grade - Loose deep sand
License required - ORV, and State Park
Gas - Mears road.
Camp grounds - Silver Lake State Park and private campgrounds and motels in Mears. Very busy on holiday weekends in summer, long lines to get into the dunes and do not count on over nights without reservations. 
Special features - Sand dune riding, Michigan lakeshore tourist attractions, swimming, fishing, etc... No trails just open riding. Lots of fun. It is one of those ridding opportunities in Michigan which you have to try at least once! General description - Sand dunes, hill climbs, beach access all serve up for one big old time.
